Good morning at Telunas
After breakfast, we spent some time to pack our stuff in the room and walked back to the same jetty that we alighted at day one. The same boat will now bring us to the private island and together with the staff, we came to know some of them by names and got to know how they found this incredible career at Telunas.
Similar on day one, the staff will bring our bags and luggage to our room. We had our welcome drinks at the reception and of course, we began to walk around the hall.
We had our lunch at the hall and at the private island, the meals are served and chosen beforehand instead of a free and easy buffet. This is quite a premium experience for us because we are not used to being served individually. The chef actually came out from the kitchen and asked for your choice of meal and dessert.
Soon, our room is ready and we slowly made our way there.
Room Tour, Telunas Private Island
Similar to our day one, let’s have a room tour first!
I found some unique photography composition that I wanted to try. So, I began to set up my gears and this is what I got.
The result? See below.
As we have not yet tried the sea activities and the weather today is really good – bright and sunny, Little Girl and I decided to burn off some fats and go for a swim at the infinity pool that is exclusive to the guests staying at Telunas Private Island. We later decided to also kayak around the island on our own. We came across the mangrove swamp, saw a few eagles and kingfishers flying around, and a place we believe is for the wild turtles to lay and hatch their eggs at the back of the Telunas Private Island. Sadly, I do not want my Canon gears to get wet, we did not capture what we saw along the way. (But I do have some plan to make this work in the future trips like this)
After a warm shower, we simply lied on the bed and enjoy the clear view in front of us. Well, this is even better than the large premium plasma televisions we saw.
Candlelight Dinner at Telunas
The sunset today is incredibly clear and we can see the sun set slowly in the horizon till the sky gets dark. As I am capturing time-lapse of the sunset and all, I notice the Telunas staff is preparing the candle-light dinner at the jetty. It is good for the couple and great for any kind of proposal!
Well, it turns out that Little Girl has been planning this with the Telunas staff to set up the candlelight dinner for my birthday. Certainly, this is a big suprise! It all happened when I was asleep in the hammock at day two, Little Girl had all her time with the Telunas staff and told them what she wants. Thanks for the Telunas staff and my Little Girl, this is my very first candlelight dinner in my life. Well, I am not a very romantic person but Little Girl sure is!
Stargazing at Telunas Private Island
After dinner, the night is clear and all the stars started to unveil in front of us. It was beautiful. What’s even better is that we were stargazing at our very-own comfortable balcony.
[to be continued – day four]
